Queer As Fuck

Romy Madley Croft from the xx has a girlfriend. Her name is Rachel. She is a graphic design student at Central Saint Martins in London, which is by the way one of the best universities, next to Parsons in NYC and the Royal Academy Of Fine Arts in Antwerpen, for fashion design students (alumni: Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, John Galliano, Hussein Chalayan, Christopher Kane etc.)

Romy and Rachel have recently been interviewed by Tourist Magazine:

What happens when you fall in love?
ROMY: Other people, other things and the outside world just seem a little less important than being with that person.
RACHEL:Your priorities change and objects start to have more of a story.
Does music sound better with romy / rachel?
ROMY: Having music that you can share with another person always sounds better to me, all Rachel and I listen to is Beach House, it’s just constantly on in the background.
RACHEL: It definatly sounds more current.
How does long distance (tour) love feel?
ROMY: It feels…like a challenge, it’s so hard to be away from the one person you want to be with. But it makes me appreciate the time we have together so much and I have so much time to think about her and when we finally are together it feels very special.
RACHEL: Like when your eight and you want it to be your birthday.
