So, being sick and bed ridden I've been scanning the interweb and came across a british documentary about the perfect vagina. It comes from the seat of postfeminism and views vagina-loving feminist spiritualism with as much skepticism as labiaplasty and hymen-reconstruction. It of course comes to the wonderful conclusion that it doesn't matter what your ladybits look like. I enjoyed it, the woman doing all the research seemed to be one of the post-feminist women of today, yet she went about the whole thing with a feminist lens that won't scare people away, considering everyone is a little skittish about those crazy feminists these days.
Anyway, what I found particularly intriguing was this featured "Design a Vagina" art project by a british sculptor Jamie McCartney . He has a sort of wall going on, compiled from casts he's taken of 200-something vaginas. Which is pretty amazing, considering most women don't know what's going on down there, as the documentary showed me. Anyway, check him out. You can't help but love a guy who helps women feel good about themselves and their vaginas.
