51% of Canadian women have experienced at least 1 incident of physical or sexual violence since age 16. Every minute a Canadian woman or child is sexually assaulted. 1-2 women are murdered by a current or former partner each week. There have been more than 600 murdered or missing Aboriginal women and girls in the past ...30 years. Violence against women is not a "problem", it's an epidemic.
